I bought this Sadowsky new back in 2006. It's extremely well crafted. This one has an impeccable authority in the low end. The bridge pickup in the 70s position lends itself to the Marcus Miller tone for slap, or the burpier bridge only tone with the bass boosted.
Radius is 10" with 20mm spacing at the bridge. Weight just shy of 10lbs.
Controls are: Volume / Pickup Balance / Vintage Tone Control (which also acts as a Push-Pull for Passive+Active modes) / Stacked EQ (Bass+Treble in active mode). The preamp kicks ass and is famous for good reason.
Super low action with DR Nickel Low Riders 40-100. Recently given a full setup by David Neely, who did setups for all the Sadowsky's at Mesa Boogie downstairs on Sunset Blvd. (RIP).
Finish has some minor swirling that I couldn't really get to show up on camera. You can only see it in certain lighting conditions. Only ding I could find is super minor, to the left of the bridge. Tried to photograph it best I could.
