MTD 5string Fretless
35"scale. 19mm spacing

Like a Stingray on Steroids.

Its old. Its no beauty queen. Plenty of scratches. But it plays beautifully and it sounds the way you wish your Stingray sounded. Excellent setup with extremely low action. Ready to gig.
Looks cool as hell. I'm assuming that this is a UK variant for London Bass Centre.
19mm spacing. Super lightweight. The neck is straight and the truss rod is in perfect condition. It has the older heavy brass bridge. Minimal fingerboard wear. Matte neck; maple. Not sure what wood the body is. (I'm guessing poplar or alder)

Brand new John East Uni Preamp 9v
Brand new Bartolini Quad Coil (DL52CBJD3)

Preamp has volume, bass/treble, mid/sweep.
Switches are (parallel/single/series) and (active/passive)
This pickup and preamp are a particularly nice pairing; extremely flexible setup. Its easy to get hi-fi or sweet syrup or ultradeep fatass but this bass shines in low-mid aggression. Very growly and punchy; very authoritative; downright bossy!
If you are familiar with this East preamp you know you can push some great ClassA FET breakup. It sounds similar to the HAZ but more low-mid forward.

New DR LoRiders.
New Strap and straplocks
Very Nice Arai case.

Feel free to ask questions.

$1100 shipped Conus. PP ff (preferred/not required)

Body looks like a Kingston Artist 5. What’s written on the back of the headstock? That’s not Mike’s signature, and the Kingston line didn’t appear until 2001. Either way, it looks amazing!

Nut looks like 44mm and bridge spacing 19mm.
