1974 P bass (see neck stamp in photos) that has had all hardware, pickups, and pickguard replaced. The pickups are both vintage EMGs. The neck pickup is from the first run of EMG pickups that was ever done, the same pickups as the ones in Lee Sklar’s famous bass. The bridge pickup is a vintage pickup from the 80s. Also has an older Leo Quan Badass II bridge. The lacquer on the back of the neck has been stripped, and feels amazing in the hand.
The bass sounds beautiful with these pickups, and has a lot of natural high end. I’ve also installed a hipshot detuner, which I’ll leave on.
