Hi All,
EDIT: Added free shipping in the Continental USA and Canada.
I'm selling off my recently restored Seafoam Green Kubicki (FCS) Ex Factor S/N 1949-12-89. I received it in real rough shape knowing it would require a full restoration. It was totally beat up and modified with different pickups and passive electronics. I had this listed last year but took it down due to a warped neck which has been replaced with a new one.
The restoration consists of all fresh paint over repaired body. The original FCS neck was warped so I purchased a new neck direct from Kubicki late last year for $950 US. The new neck has been stamped by them with the original serial number. The bridge was also overhauled and all of the following new parts listed below were also installed. It's equipped with a new Kubicki 9V preamp. I can upgrade it to the Kubicki 18V preamp for an extra $250 as the body would require some routing work to allow 2 batteries to fit without bulging the cover plate. If you're okay with a bulge in the cover plate, the upgrade will be $150. Comes with a gig bag.
1 small nearly unnoticeable nick in the paint after restoration. Almost $2000 US in original Kubicki parts alone were installed in the bass.
EDIT: Bass weight photo added. Bass weighs 8.56 Lbs.
You're essentially getting a near new Kubicki bass.
Asking $3900 US. Free shipping in the Continental USA and Canada. Actual shipping costs everywhere else.
NEW PARTS LIST (ALL KUBICKI PARTS):
NEW NECK
9V preamp
Pickups
knobs
output jack
electronics cover
E string saddle
Intonation screws
Spring, screws and shaft for string clasp
Truss rod nut
strap buttons
All hardware
