Oh, thanks for the reply, do you also have the original faux sharkskin hardshell cas?
No I do not have sharkskin case. It can go either with a Mono M80 case or a SKB hard case....buyers choice

Crazy good basses, neck modelled after Stu’s Kubicki’s, 32” scale on a pau ferro board…and they are LIGHT! These basses are like snarling wolverines! GLWTS Jeff!

…jeez, just down I-5..

I have 3 of these myself, that’s how much I love this model. It’s Fender’s very first Signature bass, and unlike many of the other Signature basses that followed, the Urge was an altogether different model, designed and built in a collaborative effort with Stu Hamm and Fender’s top people of that time. It’s very unlikely that Fender will ever make these again. I emailed Stu Hamm about it and he was kind enough to respond! He confirmed that Fender had no plans. I had an Urge II, the full scale version that succeeded this run, but it was so big and cumbersome, that I never picked it up. It was sold and I got my 3rd Urge. Each of mine has different pickups and string types. My point is, if you’re looking for something that’s light, easy to play, and has a variety of tonal options, this bass is must!

I haven't seen an ART Nightbass (or heard Stu Hamm's name for that matter) since 1989!

35 years (!!!) ago!

That bass is the PERFECT color for the era as well. A true time capsule!

GLWTS!

Someone buy my basses so I can buy this man’s bass!

I have 3 of these because I love them so much!!! I did some modifications, which make it so each have their distinct tone and purpose. Such fun instruments, so different than anything else Fender (or other big manufacturers) were doing at the time. It’s a shame that these were only around for 6 or 7 years.

Wish I had the $$$$. I have one already but it's was a wreck of a Mexican version that I modified/rebuilt to make an American version. I did it thinking I could save some money but ended up spending more on it that it would have cost me to buy a used one. GLWTS
Someone's going to fall in love with this.

This looks like the bass a math rock wizard would play.
