This is a very unique and early Carl Thompson bass dated 10-16-75. It's a light-weight at 7.9 lbs and is a great player! Mahogany body, maple neck with zebrawood headstock overlay and zebrawood control cavity cover. Cool sounding Schaller (I believe) pickups. I would call the neck profile somewhat chunky and a 1 5/8" nut width. Please notice that there is no side dots on the neck. A couple of dings on the bottom end and one on the side of the body (tried to photo these). I'm not entirely sure what the 3 switches do. Some of the positions sound like a tone cap select, on/off, one pickup off. Not sure of what else they do. Comes with a mediocre hardshell case. Not interested much in trades but maybe a set/through neck Ken Smith 4 string fretted, or maybe trade plus cash for a Muckelroy 4 fretted.
