Up for sale is my beautiful 1967 Epiphone Embassy Deluxe.
This bass is in unbelievable condition. You are likely to never see such a clean and original Embassy ever again. It retains the original string mutes, thumb rest, pickup and bridge covers, and case.
I purchased it from the original owner, and the bass will come with the bill of sale the original owner gave me stating he purchased it new in 1967.
It functions well and sounds good with the Gibson Thunderbird pickups. The string height is 1/8th inch at the 12th fret. The bridge saddles are rather high, and I have opted to play it as is, rather than grind them down to lower the action. Neck relief is good.
If you want an Embassy Deluxe, this would be the one to get. I will ship the bass from South Dakota. Selling here before listing on Reverb. I'm a longtime Reverb and eBay seller, but am trying TalkBass as I've been burning out on those platforms…
