Up for sale is an absolutely rare one-off Roscoe. This bass was made in 2006 for the manager of Roscoe guitars. And there were no expense spared with this build! The bass is an absolute dream to play however I'm just not a fretless guy. For an 18 yr old bass, it is in excellent condition with only a few bruises on the body as noted in pictures. The dings are only in clearcoat and not the wood
There is some very light damage that is hard to see or tell that its even there like pin head sized finish settling on the back and a few pin head nicks. All too small to photograph and would have to be look at very closely at an angle in bright light to see them. Overall I'd give the condition a 8.8 out of 10. Most everything including the Fretboard is in perfect condition. And the HSC still looks mint with no damage.
The bass originally came with Nordstrand dual coil pickups with Ebony wood covers. I still have these and will include with them sale. ($600 value) These pups were switched out for bartolini pups.
The specs are as following...
Century Signature VI Serial #5331
Exhibition grade 1 pc solid bubinga top, the top is as thick as the body.
Figured Swamp Ash body, Natural Gloss finish,
Nordstrand DC6 pickups w/ebony covers, Bartolini 3-band preamp, now has Bartolini pups but will include dual coils.
Wenge/Purpleheart/Maple/Purpleheart/Wenge Wedge neck,
Aluminum Lined Fretless Bird's Eye Maple Diamondwood fingerboard, which can no longer be purchased.
Diamondwood nut,
Black hardware, 19mm String Spacing.
Matching wood knobs
Weight: 11 lbs the 1 pc bubinga top is what adds weight to this bass but the bass balances really well.
Looking to sell or trade for a equally beautiful fretted Roscoe Century or SKB. Not interested in LG body shape. Also may be interested in MTD, FBass, etc... just run it by me. I will not do trades with anyone with Zero feedback nor with anyone who just joined unless your willing to send me your trade before I send you the Roscoe. Sorry it's just too risky nowadays.
All trades must be in excellent to mint condition! I deem the trade value for this bass at 4k I'll do $3500 cash shipped. PAYPAL, OR ZELLE. The bass can also be picked up in GA if you choose.
