KAPA Guitars was founded in 1963 by a Dutch immigrant named Koob Veneman. These guitars were assembled in Maryland with parts mostly made in Germany by Hofner.

Comes with original case!

This thing is pretty much stock. Will come with original bridge as well as a Hofner-style one that enables lower action.

I have a 1967 Kapa Continental bass too. Mine is transparent red nitro like yours, with a different bridge and pick-guard, and only one pickup, but the body is the same. These are very cool instruments that you don't see very often.

Wish I would have found out about these sooner! Would have bought a bunch down through the years!
