I’ve decided to part ways with my treasured 1994 Fender Mexico “Squier Series” Standard Precision Bass
Not to be confused with the Squier brand,
this series was made for only a few years by Fender in Mexico and is considered to be much better than the standard Mexican made basses.
This rare black label Fender Mexico Squier Series bass highly rumored to be made of USA necks and bodies with standard electronics and hardware for an interim period after the Fender Mexico factory burned down in 1994.
if you search for one of these, you will not find many for sale. Most of them are overseas. Very few in the USA.
The neck and fretwork is definitely US quality and some experts have speculated that the necks and bodies were made from USA wood. Whatever the case, the Fender Mexico Squier Series is a well made short run series from approximately 1994-1996.
BASS IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION!
ZERO FRET WEAR.

The quality of this is MUCH better than the Fender licensed Squier Brand produced in Asia.
The neck adjustment is at the nut, unlike most fenders of that era, which have that at the bolt.
The fret ends are smooth and the action is excellent. Truss rod perfect and body is near mint condition. The fretwork is as good as any USA Fender bass.
