Selling a Shaw Tube Injection preamp along with a nice case and a few additional tubes. I bought this here on TB several months back and it looks and sounds great. However, my playing has been severely curtailed due to work travel, etc...and this is just sitting around and needs to be used by someone who will enjoy it.
All of the tubes came from the previous owner. The tube that is currently in the Shaw is from May of 1945 as per the label taped to the unit. A duplicate of that tube is included and also two 1968 RCA tubes are included. It also has a Harbour Freight case. There is no velcro on the unit, just some self-stick feet on the corners so that it will not slide around. They can be easily removed.
This preamp has a lot of tones in it since there are so many ways to adjust the sound. In addition it has a 9v out on the back, which is very handy for powering a tuner, wireless, etc...
Asking $450 OBO shipped CONUS via PayPal. If someone local to the Dallas area wants it, I can do a F2F deal for $425 since I will not have to ship.
I will post more photos when I get home from work. These are from the prior owner, and the unit is in the same condition since it has only been out of the case 1 time since I have owned it.
