Up for sale is my US Bob Glaub that I affectionately refer to as "The Mutt". Here's the story -
The previous owner had 2 US Glaubs and switched the original P width neck for a US jazz width neck. So what we have is US body serial # 540 and an older US neck serial # 427.
Also the following history from a previous owner should be noted -
"Well the body came with a chisonic single coil and a 1.75 width neck and I bought it off of the guy who plays in neon trees, I forgot his name on here. The chisonic was completely useless from day one, it just buzzed like crazy everywhere I used it so a friend of mine offered to route it out a little to fit a p pickup in and shield it. Well he did a less than stellar job (lesson learned). Then I bought a different us glaub from someone on TB with the 1.5 neck and at some point I had to get rid of one so since the body on the black one was kinda messed up I sold the other one but I swapped the necks because I preferred the 1.5 neck. All the ugliness is under the pickguard and all the parts are us Lakland (pickups are geezers) The neck on it is an older one with that great super comfy broken in feel to it that older Laklands are known for."
All that being said, I had the bass inner workings cleared out, cleaned up, fully shielded, rewired and installed Fralins with a 10+ overwind.
The bass is a real looker, plays great with low action, has great tone and is dead silent. Includes original Lakland HS case
I'm including pics documenting the current, very clean condition of the bass and the work that was done under the hood.
Weight is 8 lbs. 9 oz. Bass ships with rounds - brand unknown.
Price includes shipping to Cont US only and reflects the history and current condition of the bass.
No trades.
