For sale 1977 Carl Thompson 4 String Bass

Here’s your chance to own a piece of electric bass history. This is a 1977 Carl Thompson 4 string bass with a serial number/birthdate of 1-4-1977. It is in remarkable shape for being 47 years old, only having some light wear marks from playing over the years. The neck is straight, frets are in great shape with a lot of life left, the truss rod functions as normal, pickup works and sounds amazing, and the volume/tone/3-way on/off/tone cut switch all work perfectly.

This bass is all original, it’s as it was when it was finished in 1977.

The bass comes with a leather gigbag that i got with it when i acquired the bass.

The price tag is high, but if you know a thing or two about these basses you’ll understand why. The price isn’t rock solid, make me an offer if you like. Local pickup and meet ups are okay, but if it needs to be shipped it’ll be $150 to anywhere in the 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska, and international must cover all shipping fees.
