This Spector is less than a year old and in brand new, spotless condition. It features a 9-volt HAZ preamp, Pau Ferro board, and alder body wings for a little more warmth. The P pickup is custom made by EMG to have better magnetic coverage of the D and G strings. This is the wider of the Spector necks. I also had them make the neck flatter, so no bulky baseball bat feel like most other Spector 5-string necks. The neck is 34” scale and he B-string has more punch than any 35” scale I have played. The finish is Black Cherry with a gorgeous, detailed matching headstock. The inlays are a one off used to match the paint job. The sound of this bass is not too modern sounding in the top end, more of a high mid grit like the classic Spectors it was built to replicate. The new price on this bass was right under $8k.
