For sale Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 5 90's - Honey Burst

Hi all, this Music Man StingRay was purchased in the early to mid-'90s. It was my main bass for years, used for gigging, recording, and writing. Some of the notable venues where this StingRay saw action include the Roxy, the Whiskey, the House of Blues, Key Club, and Galaxy Theatres, along with plenty of bars and smaller clubs across Southern California. This StingRay also features the rare chrome battery cover.

The volume control pot could use a cleaning, though the hum is minimal and only occurs in one spot. There is some wear and tear on the finish, and I’ve provided pictures from all angles for transparency.

The original bridge is missing, and a Gotoh Badass bridge has been installed in its place.

This version of the Music Man has my favorite tone of all time and sounds different from today’s StingRay Specials.

I’ve been holding off on letting it go for years due to its sentimental value, but it seems like the right time now. Please let me know if you have any questions.
