I spent years trying to track one of these down, but a recent acquisition requires that I let some gear go, so here we are.
Perhaps the rarest of US - made Peaveys, the Forum AX was in production for maybe less than two years around the time Peavey statrted producing the Cirrus line.
Specs on this bass are as follows:
Alder (or in some cases, Ash) body,
Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard, 34" scale
2 Active VFL pickups with an 18-volt 2-band preamp.
Brass AMB bridge which allows string spacing to be adjusted.
Weight: 10Lbs, 3.2 oz.
Finish is a dark metalflake and apart from some small dings (nothing visible from the front), and some scuffing on the pickguard, it looks basically new. The plastic film is still on the battery cover.
Includes non-branded but very exact fitting hardshell case.
$750.00 shipped in CONUS. A great deal on a rare, quality US-made bass.
Paypal accepted.
Please contact with questions. Thank you
