For sale Aguilar DCB-M4

I hope it's ok to put my two cents in here for the seller... This is a great pickup, I put one into my Ray4 and it sounds fantastic.

That is exactly what I am planning to do with this pickup. Did you keep the stock preamp? I love the sound of mine but it definitely doesn’t sound as good as my old Ray24; the highs are kind of muffled

I am using the stock preamp currently. This Aguilar pickup sounds significantly better right away over the stock one, and though I had thought about doing the preamp at the same time I did the pickup first and I'm very happy with the sound. There are moments when I'm playing with the tone and thinking a preamp upgrade would still be nice but honestly, the overall improvement with this pickup on that bass has almost snuffed out the urge.
