The neck plays smooth, and doesn’t feel chunky at all given its width. And Stambaugh’s basses are just all beautifully crafted.
The preamp probably has some contact problem so that disconnects and connects sometimes which I thought I have fixed, but later I found my self still running into that problem occasionally. Might be fixed easily, but I am not a technician.
So I decided to take the price of the preamp(John east uni which is about 300) and an extra 100 anyway. And the bass sounds amazing passively as well, which is what I go with.
But the bass will always work in passive mode.

I got this bass on TB just in June; I am selling this because I got this bass as my first try for 6 string, and after months of playing I just rarely had the chance to use that high C, so I am putting this wonderful bass on to the market.
