They're not particularly rare or considered collectible. But MIJ BOSS pedals will tend to fetch higher prices than those with silver labels that were made in Taiwan.

The "collectible OC-2" has a black Made in Japan label, a silver thumb screw, and has Octaver (with an R) rather than just Octave on its face. The higher price it fetches is based solely on these cosmetic differences. It sounds the same as all the later MIJ OC-2s.
