Hello,
Up for sale is my Gibson EB5 5 String Dark Cherry Stain Electric Bass. It is in great condition and looks stunning for its age,
and even still has the plastic on the back of the electronics cover.

I bought this a few months ago to try to decide if I wanted to order a custom bass from my favorite builder as a 5 string strung E-C, or rather go with a full 6 string bass order. Now that I’ve made my choice, and the order will be filled shortly, there is no need to keep this bass.

It is strung with light gauge Fodera E-C Nickels, but I do have the original set of used Dr Black Beauties that are a B to G normal set that I can include.

This bass comes with the original soft Gibson Gig bag, along with its tools and case candy.

The bass weights only 7.0 lbs on a digital scale.

It does have some light player wear on the back of the bass, but it is hard to see. I had to put it in direct light to capture it, but please see pic.It also has a very light smug at the headstock.

The owner before me shielded the electronics cavity, so the bass is very quit. I’ll include a pic, since it was nicely done.

I will pay for shipping through UPS.
Asking $900.00 for it shipped only conus using PayPal for payment option only.
With shipping this is about as low as I’ll go. If bass doesn’t sell, it will be gifted to my son who plays bass.

I paid $1,000 for it, and I’ve definitely put time into it getting it setup nicely with putting new strings on it as well.

No trades, I am at maximum capacity with gear!
Thank you for looking, please see my feedback, my stuff usually sells pretty quickly.

Just in case anyone else would like to know, the trust rode works smoothly. The bass has really nice action, and I’ve used the trust rode to tweak it that way a few times since I’m so picky about my low action.

Also, the weight is in the post above.
