PLEASE NOTE: This bass does NOT come with a case. I just used a case to take the pictures. However, it does come with the original packaging.

I just recently bought this 32" MTD LK4 that I had been eyeing for a while. I initially purchased it in order to use it as a piccolo bass, but realized that type of setup really wasn't for me. This bass will be shipped with the factory strings on (See pictures). The bass is in Like-New Condition.

On it's own, it's an awesome 4 string medium scale bass (With 24 frets, which is rare in this price range). Super comfortable and the action is very low with no buzzing. Frets are nice and smooth, and it isn't noisy at all when in passive or active mode. Speaking of which, please refer to the image below for the control layout.

Let me know if you have any questions! $850 Shipped & Insured. Shipping CONUS.

The control knob you list as Master Tone is actually just a passive only tone control. In active mode, you have the treble, mid and bass controls as you have indicated. At least, that’s what I’ve read, and it seems to be the case with mine. I have the red 5-string.

Are you sure? I just tested it, and I hear a noticeable difference when adjusting the tone control in both active and passive. I will give Daniel/Mike a call just to confirm.

I called Kingston sales and they also confirmed that the tone control works in active as well!
