MTD 534-24 Ruddy Alcantara Signature
This is a 2023 MTD 534-24 (5 strings, 34" scale, 24 frets). It has the MTD Super pickups, which are a more traditional-sounding dual coil pickup. Each pickup has a switch for series/single coil/parallel operation.
Weight is 8.7 lbs; extremely comfortable to play.

I should note that there is a 2nd strap pin hole, however, this hole was never used and is filled with the factory finish; so it must have come this way from MTD (see photo):

This bass has two modifications:
- The original pickup switches just were series/parallel; however, I had the switches swapped to be series/single coil/parallel. Most MTD Super basses have this option, and the same factory switches were used. It just gives you another option.
- The Bartolini preamp was swapped for a Flexcore preamp. I found that the original Bartolini preamp was a little bit noisy compared to some of my other high-end basses, and I truly think the sound of the bass was improved with the Flexcore preamp. However, I will include the original preamp with the sale of the bass if you want to swap it back.
