This neck that designed to fit P-bass neck pocket, but has
the slimmer Jazz Bass width and spacing at the nut, with Precision bass logo on the headstock.
20 med. jumbo frets.
Maple neck with pau ferro fingerboard, which has been updated with beautiful custom dye tinting to give
it a classy, vintage, dark rosewood look. It came from the factory with a very light pale brown looking fingerboard.
The headstock has also been tinted to give it an aged/vintage look.
These necks come from the factory with a sort of less hip "wood shop" look to them.
This is much more inspiring to hold & look at every day!
A nut has already been installed. Headstock has hole already drilled for string tree.
There is one small ding on the lower left of headstock.
Apparently, Fender is only offering a maple board version of this on their website.
Local pickup preferred, but will also ship in a well packed & protected box.

This Ensenada, Mexico-made P/J Bass conversion neck features a maple or pau ferro fingerboard, a 12" radius and 20 medium jumbo frets. The maple neck has a comfortable modern "C" profile with a smooth satin urethane finish on the front and back of the neck. The headstock has a gloss finish with an authentic Precision Bass decal to complete the classic look.
The synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing. For true Fender authenticity, it's also serialized and stamped, with genuine headstock logo decal.
