Squier Mini Precision refinished in Thundernight Metallic Purple (custom BMW color) with nitro lacquer clear. Just completed the refin, and it has not been played outside my house.
While I had it disassembled, I tinted the neck with vintage amber nitro, polished the frets, conditioned the fretboard, and shielded the control cavity with copper tape. I'm not a finishing pro, but it came out really nicely. Some imperfections here and there, but you won't notice them unless you get very close. The color really pops under lights! The neck has some nice flame as well, which is rare for a Squier.
I bought it gently used - it still had the plastic on the neckplate and tuners. For all practical purposes, it's a new bass.
