Purchased brand new from The Music Loft and played it a few times in the comfort of my own home. Unfortunately the 10R80 transmission on my Ford F150 decided to take a crap on me and a new one is going to cost $8000! Sadly, that means I've got to sell this bass to offset this huge expense. What an awful thing to have to do because this bass plays like an absolute dream.
Not a single scratch, dent, or mark anywhere on it. It is for all intents and purposes brand new.
For the 2025 NAMM show in Anaheim, California, Mayones built a collection of instruments to showcase their broad product offerings and their exceptional level of craftsmanship. This is one of those special instruments. As of 2024, Mayones has introduced the Musashi3 preamp system which, in addition to giving you a 3-band eq, incorporates an integrated cab-simulated headphone preamp and auxiliary input on the bass which allows the player to practice anywhere at any time with a great tone, the ability to perform alongside pre-recorded music being piped in via the aux in, without disturbing those around you.
