Up for sale is a beautiful Rob Allen MB-2 four string lined fretless bass. Maple top and neck. Mahogany body which is a fuller sound than the common ash body.

This instrument has been modified:
A Bartolini preamp has been installed providing bass/mids/treble. This greatly increases the tonal capabilities. The original volume knob is still in use.
Rob had originally put the side dots between the"Fret" lines which I know is common but it's not very helpful. I had new side dots installed by Mike Lull guitar works.
The headstock cracked next to the E tuner. This has been repaired. The crack was limited to the side of the headstock and as such is cosmetic only and does not affect the structural integrity of the headstock or the neck in anyway.
As is common with these instruments, there are two small 1 inch sections of the plastic binding which have come loose which is cosmetic only.
Drop D tuner included.
Comes with a high end Protec gig bag.
