Offered is a Peavey T40 made in 1980 (checked by the serial number). It's in excellent shape, all the parts are there. Everyone should know what these basses are, no need for a long description.
This has never been played out. For one, it's missing a string....
. But seriously, I plaY 5-strings. I found this T40 in a dark corner of a music store and bought as a rescue. It's lived on a guitar stand in my office/studio for the last 4 years. I put on new strings, set it up, and I'd pick it up and play it every so often.
This bass weighs 12.2. lbs, should be no surprise. The truss rod and all the hardware work well and properly. I'm including 2 proper truss rod wrenches that actually fit inside the truss rod screw compartment.
There's a problem with the phase switch. Both pickups work and the pickup selector switch works properly. There's a position when using one pickup that the switch makes no sound in one of the positions. It's more than I feel like tackling at this point and time. That's why I'm offering it for less than I see them usually selling for.
The price includes free shipping to the continental USA. And I'll include a 24-hour return period. Within 24 hours of delivery, I'll refund the money paid on it. Just cover the cost of the shipping to return.
