Eminence RN5 EUB 5-string, Removable Neck Version
This is a bit of a unicorn bass, as Eminence is no longer making instruments (according to Gollihur Music, who now has full and exclusive ownership of the trademark and manufacturing/distribution rights for the Eminence Electric Upright Bass), and it's a removable neck version, AND it's 5-string!
I picked this up just under 2 years ago from another TBer, intending to have it replace my Upton UB for playing in musical theater orchestra pits. But my old feeble brain (and hands) could never quite make the adjustment to the 5er (despite me playing 5-string electrics for 30+ years).
It is in excellent shape with just a few minor nicks here and there. (the weird squiggles in the photos are reflections.) Only took it out of the house once for a rehearsal, otherwise it's mostly lived in its gig bag. It is currently strung B - G, but could easily switch to E - C if desired. Several of the strings are newer (B/E/A - Helicore Hybrid, D/G - Orchestral)
Sale includes the bass (duh) with Realist pickup modified for these basses, adjustable bridge, Hamilton folding stand, removable waist extension to simulate upright bass contact, soft padded gig bag (carries bass fully assembled), and hard SKB shipping case with wheels and soft sleeve to protect the neck when disassembled.
Asking $2,700, plus actual shipping cost to your door (CONUS only). I'd also be glad to meet up within a 75 mile radius of Toledo, OH to deliver or hand off. I also get to Nashville a couple times a year.
If shipping is needed I'm guessing $150.00. Will be shipping it disassembled in the hard case. (I *think* everything fits in there, but a 2nd package may be needed for the gig bag. I'll confirm before sale/shipping.)
