The “wife-mandated bass collection down-sizing”continues….For sale, is my 2020 Elrick Gold New Jazz Standard (NJS) 4 string bass. I ordered this bass in December of 2020 and had it delivered in January of 2021. It’s a swamp-ash body with buckeye burl top with matching headstock. The neck and fingerboard are both cherry. Has glow in the dark side dots. The bass weighs in at just over 7 lbs. Knobs control volume, blend, treble, mid, and bass. Switches are for active/passive and 3-way mid range selector. It’s currently strung with Elrick stainless steel strings, and also includes an unopened nickel set.
Because of the pandemic, this bass never left my home studio (smoke free) has just sat in the rack. It’s in excellent condition and comes with the original hard shell case.
EDIT: Update with some additional information - this is 34 inch scale, 24 frets. It is 19 mm string spacing at the bridge, with a 42mm nut.
