Thank you to all of the participants of this thread for helping me to obtain the answer to my question. My question was necessary and reasonable given that I have owned several Atelier Z basses, all of which included a push/pull pre-amp bypass. Not seeing that feature in the OP's specs is what prompted the question in the first place. FInally getting the answer to my simple question makes my decision as to whether or not this bass is of serious interest to me possible.

I'm not being snide nor angry. You used the word "exact", which is pretty rare to come across in a request. Quite frankly, I've yet to ever encounter someone request the "exact weight" of an instrument before. (Makes it seem like more of a demand when you request that someone do something "exactly" or obtain something "exactly".)

I just was politely trying to cater to your inquiry, and I wanted confirmation that I had fulfilled your inquiry to an adequate standard. No clue how you misinterpreted that or why you're projecting such negative emotion.

Also, the correct spelling is: abrasive.

I have over 13+ years of experience buying and selling equipment on numerous sites and platforms including: eBay, Reverb, Instagram, Facebook, and other gear forums. My reviews and metrics on other sites are a significantly better indicator of my business ethics and how greatly I am liked and trusted as a reputable seller. I also have numerous references available upon request.

I simply don't do business on this forum often because I'm not primarily a bassist. Bass equipment is the minority of my gear. I also opt not to do business on this forum often of how abusively all you hard-headed, old geezers behave. Look at you being a jackass to a new member when he is merely trying to sell some equipment. How absolutely immature. Comments like yours are why this forum is absolutely tanking in traffic.

Newsflash: the world of bass gear exists outside of this forum. You should try venturing outside of your little bubble here sometime.

i think most folks are weighing on their bathroom scale which most likely would be defined as "approximate weight"

The problem is that commonplace, household bathroom scales are cheaply made, poorly designed, cannot be calibrated, and are typically all over the place to a very large margin. One cheap, digital bathroom scale will say one thing; and another cheap, digital bathroom scale of another make/model will say something completely different.

You guys have to stop using those.

You can get a postal/shipping scale on Amazon for a mere $20-$30 that is of better quality in terms of assembly and materials, is significantly more accurate (down to 0.1oz precision), can be calibrated, and has a higher weight capacity.

$20-$30 is nothing. There really is no excuse to be using ludicrously inaccurate, unreliable bathroom scales that contribute to the problem with the whole weight obsession along with all of the other outdated myths and problematic practices that this particular forum continues to perpetuate.

TB is a polite community. Everyone tries and that is beautiful. Sweet, sweet bass. GLWTS! I've found digital luggage handle scales at department stores for $10-20 if that helps anyone.

Have you considered the fact that I just subscribe for single months whenever I have equipment to sell and that’s it? Did that possibility ever cross your mind at all?

Also, maybe I enjoy engaging in occasional acts of charity and support? Doing it on a one-month-at-a-time basis is no great cost to me, nor should it be to anyone else.

But let me be honest here… Why would I want to continually support a community of rude, out-of-touch boomers and equally rude, clueless Gen-Xers who behave in the manner that you so blatantly put on display here?
