This is the nicest bass that I've ever owned! Unfortunately, I'm moving to NYC and really need to downsize and save some money. You can get a really wide variety of sounds from this bass and it sits very comfortably on a strap.
I said "trades considered" but I'm pretty picky. I'd take a nice Musicman or Jazz bass with some cash for this!
It comes with a gig bag. Due to shipping costs and a bad experience, I really don't want to ship this beauty. I'm driving back and forth between Chicago and NYC a lot in the next few months and would be happy to drop it off somewhere in the middle. Let's talk! Here are the details:
MBass Hollow ( Chambered )
Here we present a like new pre-owned MBass with a chambered body. The entire bass has an antique violin tint. Mint, really.
This bass today , as configured would be $6,800 plus shipping and US Customs ( $600 ). This is a 2023 build.

Back – Flame Maple
Neck – 3 piece Flame Maple with 2 smoked Oak runners – 34″scale. Nut width is 1.80″ , string spacing the bridge is 18mm. ” Glued neck thru”
Fingerboard – Ebony , 24 frets with matching Ebony finger ramp
Pickups – Marleaux wood covered Humbuckers – Delano Quad coil design
Preamp – 3 band Marleaux , bass/treble/sweepable mid . 3 way coil select per pickup. Active/passive option
Gig Bag – heavy duty Marleaux branded
This bass starts with a rich tone in passive mode and adds a host of tone shaping options in active mode. Plays smooth and effortlessly, qualities Marleaux has long been famous for.
The combination of an elegant single-cut design with a set neck produces maximum sustain and easy access to the upper frets. Sustain, attack and balance are all incredible. Because of the elongated upper body half the neck is stiffer and vibrates more vividly. The skinnier waist makes this single-cut bass lighter and more elegant. This construction makes a perfect balanced sound and an unbeatable B string for a 34″ scale bass.
