R Series
The R Series has a modern and more aggressive design in order to give access to the entire fretboard. The R stands for Recipe because the specific tone created by the original spec form cannot be replicated by another combination of woods. The original spec form intended for the R Series is a walnut body, maple top, and a wenge neck.I am not sure of all the details about this bass. but here is what I think I know:
- Birdseye maple fretboard
- Wenge one piece neck
- Curly maple top, not sure about the body, perhaps mahogany?
- Nordstrand PJ pickups
- Nordstrand NTMB+F 3 band pre-amp
- Hipshot ultralight tuners
- Hipshot Kickass bridge (adjustable string spacing from 17-19 mm
- 34" scale
- Dunlop inset strap locks
- Weight 8.16 lbs
- Reunion Blues RBX gig bag
