Up for sale is a rare and highly sought-after 2010 Squier Classic Vibe Precision Bass in the original Fiesta Red finish. This is one of the desirable early-production Crafted in China (CIC) models, widely regarded by players as some of the finest instruments ever produced under the Squier name. These first-generation Classic Vibe basses have earned an outstanding reputation for their exceptional build quality, vintage-correct styling, and impressive tone. The Fiesta Red finish is especially uncommon and highly collectible.
This bass is in great overall condition and has been carefully maintained. There is one paint chip on the lower corner of the heel (pictured) and a couple other light dings and scratches that are difficult to notice. They do not affect the playability at all. The bass is 100% original. It actually has a mint pickguard on it currently but the original tort guard is included. I'll put it back on if you really want me to, or I'll just include in the case. No other mods or changes. I'll also include and ship in a Musicians Friend house brand hardshell case that is in great condition (almost brand new).
The bass weighs around 8 lbs, 11 oz and is currently strung with a set of Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats (my favorites!). I believe they are a 50-105 set and they only have 5 or 6 months playing time on them. If you're looking for one of the best Precision Bass values ever made, this rare 2010 Chinese-made Classic Vibe Precision Bass in Fiesta Red is an outstanding example. With its original condition, excellent playability, and included hardshell case, this is a fantastic instrument for players and collectors alike. I hate to sell it, but I'm trying to pay off a vintage 73 J Bass I recently purchased.
