Not to be confused with the more recent Shoreline Mist Starfire Special, this Newark St. Starfire II has all the specs we know and love of that model along with a super rare finish. As I understand it, Guild had a few basses with finish flaws that they worked with Sweetwater to sell after refinishing them in Shoreline Mist. I've included a picture of Sweetwater's archived page for this model. Hypothetically there's flamed maple under that shiny silver finish.
I'm torn on selling this bass. It's everything you want in a short scale semihollow, but it's either this or my EB-2 that needs to go. I'm choosing vintage over reliable today.
This was my go-to for awhile in the studio, and it's setup with LaBella flats. No wear or marks to note. Guild hard case included with sale.

Edit: I forgot to add initially that the sale also includes a set of 60s Guild flats that I tried on this bass. I thought "this could be cool, just like it would have originally played." They're terrible, I hated its loose rubberbanding intonation nightmare. But hey, maybe the next owner would enjoy the experience
