Up for sale is this absolutely gorgeous, Music Man 40th Anniversary Old Smoothie bass in chocolate burst.
I am the original owner and purchased it back in 2016 from the Chicago Music Exchange. The bass was brand new in the box when I picked it up. After I got it home, I removed the battery, put the bass back in the case and have not taken it out again until now at the time of this listing. It's been stored unused and untouched for the last 9 years. The pickguard still has the original factory plastic installed on it.
Since listing it, I have installed a new battery and plugged it up to an amp for the first time ever and briefly tested it out and it sounds absolutely amazing. This is technically as close to a factory new bass as you're going to find. It will come with its original Music Man hardshell case, that is in near perfect condition aside from some light scratches from being stored with other cases. All the original paperwork and case candy it came with are included.
