Details

This is a featherlight roast pine body from Warmoth with a factory vintage tint semi-gloss finish. Never used.

Warmoth's description:
Roasted Pine salvaged from the 2020 Archie Creek Fire in the Umpqua National Forest. A Natural Semi-Gloss finish enhances the grain.
I'm really trying hard not to describe this as a fire sale...um, yeah.

Anyway, typical J styling, routes are for Jazz pickups, bridge is Fender 5 screw.

To sweeten the deal, I'll include a pickguard of your choice from my stash in the box. I have a red/black tort that would look great, or perhaps a white pearl or green pearl would complement the vintage tint. Body does not have pickguard holes drilled, so if you want to keep it bare with just a control plate, it'd look great that way too. If none of those grab you, PM me and we can go through what I've got.

Free shipping in the Continental US.

There is one spot that looks like it was factory filled on the inside of the upper horn.

Hey, I picked up one of those too! I put American professional II pickups in it, gotoh 201, and a warmoth neck I got here on talkbass with hipshot ultralite tuners. I wanted to put a pickguard on it, but the tech insisted I play it for a while before deciding to drill the holes because he liked the natural look so much. I can share pictures if you would like. Looks and plays great!

Thanks. I hate to let it go, but someone just snapped it up.

Sure thing! I actually like the way it looks with the pickguard on, but I left it off for now.

I put a high mass bridge and ultra lite tuners to hopefully balance the light weight body with the neck. Didnt realize the new Fender jazz has the option of roasted pine, same pickups, and high mass bridge. I suppose I wish I put the fender high mass on instead of the gotoh, but I'm not changing anything. For the neck, I was looking for a thin taper roasted maple and rosewood but the price I got this neck for was far cheaper.

At any rate, here are a couple of pics. Looks better in person, also the pine actually smells really good.
