Long story - this started out as a powered AT110 cabinet from GR Bass. After a few months, it started to give me problems with a rattle in the cabinet. GR thought it was a bad woofer (nope), spent hours trying to diagnose it but no luck, They eventually sent me a whole new unit that I sold after too much brain damage with GR. So I pulled the power amp and tweeter/crossover, rewired it with a Neutrik Speakon and built a new back panel, and instailled an Eminence Legend BP102 4 ohm speaker, thinking that it would make a nice practice cab. I've spent too much time trying to get it to work perfectly - its fine at low volumes but there's still a gremlin in the cab somewhere, so I am giving up on it.

It works fine at low/medium volumes, but has noise at higher volumes. If you are handy with troubleshooting, you can probably find the problem and fix it. Or just use it at home for practice.

Free to a good home - you pay shipping (probably $40-50 depending on your location). I'd love to see this go to a young player starting out that needs a home practice cab. Tell me your story and I'll choose a good home for it.

This thing is small (12x12x16) and only weighs about 15 lbs. I have a box and can ship quickly. I bought another cab that meets my needs and want to move it along.

That's a very cool thing of you to do. I'd love to have it- but the reality is that I have way too many cabs, and a lot of repairs to do already. I know there is someone without a lot of funds- out there deserving to try fixing it.

Not sure if I can still post, but just curious if you ever met anyone else with a GR and similar problems, as I TOO, seem to have a gremlin in my AT Cube 800. Some buzz or rattle and I can't figure it out. I have tried running the amp to another speaker and running another amp to the GR speaker to see if it is blown and it's weird. I kinda farts out but not really. I will probably pay to have the speaker tested. GR wanted some coin for a replacement and that was before tariffs.
