Anyway, this is the fret slotting miter box that I use all the time! If you are looking at making Guitars or Basses, this is how you get perfect fret slots!
Includes the miter box, saw, and two templates!
With those two templates, you can slot a huge variety of scale lengths
This one has never been used, you can see that it’s still in its original packaging. The templates, which are sold separately from the miter box and saw, are also unused. This stuff is not cheap, it is professional quality, and does exactly what it’s supposed to!
In addition to the pics, you’ll also find a screenshot of the prices that I paid for the items, and a picture of my assembled one that I use all the time.

I would also consider trades. Hipshot tuners and bridges, Albridge bridges, Thunderbird pickups, perhaps other bass parts - pickups, preamps, etc

Here’s a picture of an assembled one. The only difference is that I attached two toggle clamps onto my “daily use” setup to improve speed and efficiency, but this is not a necessity at all.
