Very easy to play, accepts low action without buzz, lively response, with 18mm spacing
Fender, Spector Euro LX, Modulus - you can find any sound on this with pickup selection and EQ.
The magnetics EMG pickups are humbuckers but lively and expressive, giving a warm grindy sound.
The piezo extends to the lowest and highest ranges I've ever heard.
More Piezo = more scooped
More Mags = rounder, warmer. Solo a Mag for vintage sounds, or blend them 50/50 for a modern sound like a Spector Euro5. 50/50 the Mags with the Piezo and now it sounds like the 1990's Modulus Q5
This bass pulls notes and playability out of me. I'm usually a 1st or 5th position guy, but on here I find myself going up to and past the 12th fret, and even the B string sounds musical up there.
The open-B string is musical and fits well with the rest of the notes - it's as musical as an open-E
If I didn't have this emergency, I wouldn't ever sell this
