Made by Jon Maghini in 2007, this bass is from his custom M3 series just before he went into making vintage Fender styled basses. The wood choices, electronics, style and meticulous woodworking are absolutely top notch. These custom M3 models are quite rare—I think Jon made around 100 or so of these, and only a handful were 6-string.
The bass plays effortlessly and has a beautiful voice with a thundering yet articulate low-B. Bass Musician Magazine published a nice review of a similar build by Jon when he first came out with these basses--See HERE.
There is some wear since it was played quite a bit over the years. I've included pics to show condition as best I can. It will come packed in an M-Basses Protec case with a nicely padded Levy's strap and an unused set of DR Hi-Beams (well, the B string was briefly put on but only for a minute).
