Beautiful Wood & Tronics Zoid 5 hand made by Ernesto Pacini and his colleague in Italy. This bass just exudes that European bass philosophy. if you’ve ever played bases like Marleaux, Maruszcyk, and Laurus, you know what I mean when I say this bass sounds like it wants to you to solo. the tone is so clean and clear but with a natural warmth. the bass might look a little strange but it is VERY ergonomic and balances and feel very nice on the body when on a strap and lays comfortably on your lap when playing seated.

-17.5mm bridge spacing (like Spector and Music Man) for comfortable chording with enough space to slap still
-9.7lbs (feels much lighter because it balances very well)
-Stunning carved quilted maple top, on body wings im not quite sure of, they look like they are in the mahogany family, and sound that way too, a very resonant body with warmth and clarity
-5 piece Fodera style neckthrough with dark wood (ebony? purpleheart?) on either side of the 3 piece maple core. With an Ebony fretboard.
-either Haeussel or in-house Wood & Tronics pickups with a splittable Humbucker for 60s and 70s jazz bass single coil positions (IMPRESSIVE 60s jazz vibe)
-Vol (pull passive), blend, and awesome Glockenklang 3 preamp which has a nice clean sound and is gain staged very nicely so it’s not too much louder than the passive mode, treble control doubles as a passive tone in passive mode.
