Human Base Roxy B4 with a Black finish. Built in Germany by Human Base. These are quite rare and do not come up for sale often. A nice, relatively clean example of a quality German-made Stingray competitor with, in my opinion, much more tonal range and useability.

This bass is 100% original and remains in 8.5/10 condition. It has been well maintained and shows only moderate cosmetic wear consistent with normal use. The pics show a couple scratches on the back and minor finish wear on the front. It is fully functional with no structural issues, and the neck, frets, electronics, and hardware are all in excellent working order.

Equipped with a Delano Xtender pickup and a highly regarded Glockenklang 3-band active preamp, this bass delivers everything from warm vintage-inspired tones to articulate modern punch. The active/passive switch provides added flexibility, while the series/parallel switching offers tonal options suitable for virtually any musical style. Tonal range is amazing either passive or active and all of the components are high quality.

Very interesting and cool bass. Given the pickup position, I imagine it could sound StingRay like easily?

Yes, it cops an inherent Stingray sound without the top-end sizzle that Stingrays are known for (which I don't really care for). Clear, pronounced mids yet the preamp can dial in a surprisingly massive amount of lows.

Hmmm. That sounds cool! I agree about the “sizzle “ in the ‘Ray, which is why that bass was never a number 1…Thank you!
