The bass has 2 BMV handwound T-Bird style pickups with a 3 way selector switch. Usually John sets these up with Vol/tone Vol/tone but this is a giant improvement and really helps bring out the upper end. Super thick ballsy tone.
Knobs are volume and tone.

Rosewood board with flame roasted maple neck w/block inlays and binding
the previous owner did have a midi pickup on it that had been removed, hence the two holes on either side near the bridge.
