Up for sale is my prized Bluesman Vintage Deville 2T5. It was custom built for me in November, 2025. I've played it at a local church a few times. The rest has been at home. Looks as good as the day I got it.
It is an extremely comfortable 5-string with a smooth, oil-finished, roasted maple neck. The body is roasted pine and has a deep, translucent navy blue finish with a very light relic.
The pickups are Bluesman Vintage’s handwound Bluesbird, thunderbird-style pickups, giving this beauty a warm, rich tone that sits nicely in the mix. The bridge pickup is solidly in Jaco territory. The neck pickup is like a warm, glassy precision pickup. Really nice! It even has a surprisingly nice slap tone. The concentric/stacked knobs give individual tone control over each pickup. So the whole thing is very versatile. It is also lightweight and very nicely balanced.
