This set was ordered directly from Novak ($497 brand new) for a '76 Gibson G-3 that I sadly, had to sell.
These pickups were never installed or soldered, just mounted briefly in a pickguard to check for fit (see thumbnail photo - pickguard is NOT included, but is also for sale).
This trio was wound to the standard "Vintage Winding" by Novak.
Their description:
"My version of the elusive Bill Lawrence designed Gibson G3 Bass pickup that was produced form the mid to late 70s. I am doing these true to vintage spec. As usual I went to great lengths to accurately replicate this pickup from the unique cover, custom bobbin, magnet and reflector plate. I am doing them in Clear and Black. Potted in clear epoxy. Correct wire color for each position.
Standard 3-48 humbucker mounting screw."
