1978 Mustang: Ash body, maple neck, Rosewood board and a beautiful 3 tone burst finish that this era is known for. The knobs are original and period correct for 1978. The sound is thick and full with a good fundamental. It is strung with fresh flatwound strings that thump & are perfect for roots music. Add round wounds and it’s ready for rock. It weighs around 9 lbs and that really comes through in the tone. Despite its size, this is a substantial bass. Ships in nice gig bag. Shipping to the USA is included in the price. There are various scratches and dings on the body and a finish ding on the treble side of the neck near the headstock (see pictures). Set up with low action - no dead notes up and down the neck. I took pictures of the neck pocket, neck stamp and pots of the Mustang bass after the fact. If you want to see these DM me. As always local members are welcome to come by and check these basses out.
