Details

Here’s an early Lakland Joe Osborn model with the signature on the headstock (only first 100 got it). I can’t say for sure if there’s any particularly special in the early ones compared to the later builds, but I will say that this is definitely one of the nicest basses I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. I’m only selling this because I’ve decided to pare down to the necessities, and my main bass needs to have a low-B (I’ve got a De Gier 5er for that).

It’s in great condition, but does show some wear (8/10 condition). I’ve included some pics showing the most of it. Action is low and very comfortable with some old flats—GHS PFs, I think.

Specs at a glance:

Body: Alder
Neck: Quartersawn maple w/graphite reinforcement (1-1/2" @nut, 2-7/16" @20th)
Fretboard: Madagascar RW (10' radius)
Pickups: Lindy Fralin custom wind
Weight: ~8.9 lbs
Comes with original Lakland hardcase

$2800 shipped pending

If you are very particular about the condition (or just curious), here’s a vid I just recorded for a TBer, showing all the bumps and bruises (or as many as I could find):

Does it have the typical Lakland truss rod adjustment set-up? Hard to tell in the photos but it looks like a Fender style large Phillips head screw.
