Here's an awesome NYC bass that I thought I would keep forever. I love the playability, weight, look, and sound of this bass...however, I'm just in need of some extra cash for growing upright bass collection (and this one is worth a big chunk of change). I know I'll kick myself later, so the buyer would need to provide first right of refusal to me, should they ever (foolishly) decide to sell.
This bass (#4500) is a 2006 NYC Jazz 4 with ultra vintage (full sized) alder body in a BEAUTIFUL 59 burst. Weighs only 8.40 lbs and sports a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, hum cancelling pickups, and 2 band Sadowsky preamp with VTC. Was also PLEK-d in the past 2 years, and is SUPER fast with a growly / punchy tone. Bass is in excellent condition and comes with 2 pickguards (parchment and tortoise) and an awesome Sadowsky light weight foam case in excellent condition.
