Here is a very rare in excellent dare I say mint condition Peavey USA Rudy Sarzo Cirrus 4 bass in Transparent Voilet with Flame Maple top and a birdseye maple neck all original. Quick story on how I bought this: Special Ordered this from Chuck Levine Washington Music I ordered it in Red because that was the color Rudy Sarzo was using at the time. Peavey was redoing the custom shop at the same time of this, so it took a long time for me to receive the bass and when I did I did not like the flame maple top on it was not like Rudy’s and I paid a lot for this. I sent it back and they were going to make me a new red one but then Peavey had this one that was made for Rudy himself (according to the email from WMC/Peavey) but I guess Rudy wanted red so they sent some pictures of it finished without the electronics and ask if I would accept it or that I could use it until they make me a new red one as I ordered. So, they finished the build and sent it to me and when I opened the case, I immediately contacted them told them I was keeping it. I will include a picture of the red one I received and sent back and a picture with Rudy Sarzo and his red one and an image of the email from Peavey/ Washington Music and myself still saying I wanted a RED one… I will include photos of the bass that Peavey sent me with the email. I will include photos from the Peavey Catalog with the specs. I want to state that things happen in life, but Peavey and Washington Music did above & beyond in resolving this issue. I will be happy to print this email out and put a copy in the case for whoever purchases it or I will email it to whoever purchases it. Just so you all know I had to forward the email several times due changing email accounts. This is a piece of art and is a case queen. I do believe I received the bass the last week of February 2010. The photos do not do this bass justice. The bass is in the same condition as when I received it. Comes with the original hard-shell case and all the case candy including a brand-new leather Levy’s strap with the strap locks. The only reason I am selling her is I am getting older and need to cut down the collection. Weight 9lbs 2oz if my home scale is accurate.
