I recently acquired a Mike Lull v4. It had an Audere preamp that I have replaced with a Sadowsky. It was not because of tone. The Audere sounded fantastic. I'm just kind of finicky with preamp layouts and the passive tone control with boost only bass/treble is what I like. So happy to move this Audere on to someone that wants to upgrade their tone.
The unit says:
Jazz Pre
V M/B T/B
USA MC V1R2
As indicated, it has a Volume knob, stacked Mid and Balance pot and a stacked Treble and Bass pot. The input is still on the plate, so no need to route for a side jack. It also has some small gain pots inside for further adjustments. There is a built in LED light to give you a quick flash that your battery is good. It also has screw down terminals to negate soldering. You can just drop this right in the bass. It fit battery included. We had to route a battery box to make the Sadowsky fit, and that is with a side jack also added, so Audere definitely got the easier retrofit for sure. There is no "Z switch" on it as it seems the many of the models have now.
I'll ship it in the Sadowsky box as it really fits nicely for good protection.
$100 shipped in continental US.
